GREAT MUSIC ~ AUTHENTIC CUISINE ~ LIVELY DANCE ~ CULTURAL ARTS
We have an incredible line-up of entertainment. You already know about how fabulous Prescott’s “Gurley Girls” are… and we’ve added to the roster Rick Jordan, whose famous falsetto tones when he sings “Unchained Melody” gives goose bumps to every listener! Add lively Ukrainian Dancers and singers, it will be a fun culturally enlivening time! (We have some other great talents in the works, but not quite ready to reveal…) We will also feature folks who will speak to the experience of being in war torn Ukraine and the relief work that is going on there. The sorrow and fear…the courage of families fighting on the frontlines…
The day is going to be extraordinary and full of kind heart!
We will have Cash Bar with donation stations, so you can keep adding to the pot! We plan on spreading the peace, love and raising much needed funds for these incredibly courageous people. We all understand that this country is in dire need and in need of great support and love from the world. The needs are great. Who cannot be touched by the incredible courage of this great nation in this fight for freedom, the freedom of the Ukraine people!
We will be making a video and expect every attendee to have a prepared statement of encouragement to the Ukraine People which we will upload to YouTube. You can say it directly on camera or if you are camera shy, have a printed statement that we will incorporate into the video.
We are working on raffles items and with Ukraine vendors etc. to raise more… if you have something special to contribute…we would so appreciate that!… And any under-writing as well! If you need a tax write-off we’ve got the paper work for you! We also need 3 airline tickets domestic if you have extra miles you aren’t using! (That would be for a Chef, his assistant and a Video Director.)
We are working with a stellar group called “You Are the Angel.” They are in touch daily with people on the ground in this poor worn torn country and address immediate needs… whether it is water issues, medical, food, shelter and animal rescue. They are on it! 100% of what we raise goes to these needs, providing relief directly to the victims of the war in Ukraine!
Here’s a little info about these true angels:
“A New York-based non-profit organization Central Part Angels, Inc. DBA “You Are The Angel” was founded in 2018 to provide relief to people affected by disasters, such as the earthquake in Haiti. Since February 2022 the organization has been focusing its humanitarian efforts exclusively on Ukraine. It assembled a group of over 200 volunteers who are working around the clock in Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Romania and the U.S. to provide shelter, food, basic medical supplies and psychosocial support to both the refugees fleeing Ukraine for safety and those who are unable to leave the country and are surviving the daily deprivation and brutality of war. “You Are the Angel” is a volunteer-led organization that has no administrative costs, which allows for 100% of donations to be spent on providing relief directly to the victims of the war in Ukraine.”
